GAMSP Announces New Executive Director: Mrs. Cheryl Riddle

With a career spanning decades in middle school education leadership, Mrs. Cheryl Riddle recently concluded a successful administrative career and now embarks on a new chapter as the Executive Director of the Georgia Association of Middle School Principals. She has a long history with the GAEL organization, its affiliates and associates. She has served as president of SSTAGE (Student Support Team Association of Georgia Educators) and most recently on the GAMSP board. She has received recognitions from SSTAGE, GAMSP, GAEL, and while principal of Liberty Middle School, received the designation and re-designation of Georgia Lighthouse Schools to Watch and National School to Watch from the National Forum to Accelerate Middle Grades Reform. Outside of her professional accomplishments, Cheryl is actively engaged in community service. She is a past board member for Leadership Forsyth, a program dedicated to developing community leaders, and continues to be involved in various community initiatives through the Rotary Club. Cheryl is excited to work closely with each of you to advance the goals and priorities of GAEL and GAMSP. Together, we will advocate to support and advance the interests of middle school educators and leaders, promote the importance of networking and collaboration among them, and enhance professional development opportunities to ensure the success of our students.
