The Georgia Association of Educational Leaders (GAEL) was established in 1974 with a mission to improve public education in Georgia through high quality leadership development, advocacy and a resource network for educational leaders. The vision is to be the premier network for educational leaders in Georgia.
GAEL is open to individuals who hold or are seeking positions in educational leadership. GAEL is an umbrella association uniting six different affiliate associations. GAEL members also join their appropriate affiliates. Many members strengthen their professional connection with membership in a national organization.
Membership in GAEL (and all affiliates) is active from July 1 – June 30 of each year. Memberships are sold for the next fiscal year beginning on April 1. The perfect method to join is by attending the GAEL Summer Conference where membership fees are included in the conference registration fee. Be sure to join early to receive a full year of benefits.
